很麻煩的 Wins 的相關問題

前言：

wins是samba設定的一個大問題，經常會有錯誤的情況發生，最主要是wins.dat這個檔案出錯，以下是除錯的方法。

首先你可以利用以下的指令來查詢WINS Server 是不是有正常work

nmblookup -R -U WINS_Server_IP 欲查詢電腦名稱

如果你Samba 的WINS Server 有不正常的記錄

請先停止samba=>很重要,否則不會清除原記錄

再刪除/var/cache/samba/wins.dat 及/var/cache/samba/browse.dat

重新啟動Samba，則Samba 會自動建立這兩個檔案

client端的Windows 指令

1.清除client的WINS cache

C:\>nbtstat -R

Successful purge and preload of the NBT Remote Cache Name Table.

2.列出client的WINS cache

nbtstat -c

向WINS Server 重新註冊一次Netbios name

C:\>nbtstat -RR(windows 98無此功能)

The NetBIOS names registered by this computer have been refreshed.
